International Day of Mathematics is coming

The International Day of Mathematics (IDM) is a worldwide celebration. The International Day of Mathematics is a project led by the International Mathematical Union with the support of numerous international and regional organizations. Each year on March 14 all countries are invited to participate through activities for both students and the general public in schools, museums, libraries and other spaces. In the Netherlands an event is organized at the Fashion Tech Farm in Eindhoven. Below a message from the organizers!

“We are organizing a small gathering of like-minded people at the Fashion Tech Farm in Eindhoven, those who brave the tightrope between art and science and are excited to share their discoveries! The event will take place at Zeelsterstraat 80 in Eindhoven. An informal gathering where there is room for all visitors to tell a story about their work and take us along in their wonder. At 15:00 we will raise our glasses together, and congratulate each other on the existence of mathematics and in particular our favorite irrational number pi. We hope to meet you there. We would appreciate it if you would fill out this form.”
