GAMM Prize for Applied Mathematics

The GAMM (International Association of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics) is n interdisciplinary network for researchers from applied mathematics and mechanics as well as their sub- and neighboring fields. It was founded by Ludwig Prandtl and Richard von Mises in 1922. GAMM played a significant role in advancing hydro- and aerodynamics, solid mechanics, and numerical and industrial mathematics.
