Mathematics for Industry Network EU COST Action

The Mathematics for Industry Network (MI-NET) EU COST Action was established this year. Over the next four years MI-NET will support a pan-European programme of industrial mathematics activities through Horizon 2020 COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) funding.

The network, which currently comprises representatives from 22 countries, aims to create a Europe-wide partnership to promote collaboration in, and the benefits of, industrial mathematics.

The Action will coordinate and support Industrial Workshops, European Study Groups with Industry (ESGI), Modelling Weeks, and Short-Term Scientific Missions to both academic and industrial hosts. Calls are now open for applications with the next deadline on 20th October 2015.

For more information on the network and the call, see the website http://mi-network.org. If you have any questions, email Vivi Rottschafer (vivi@math.leidenuniv.nl), one of the Dutch representatives in the network.
